Maybe they even suggested that Ben move in with them so they have an excuse to film the fan favorites together in a house (a staple for reality tv like the real world or big brother). Like during the first season of Parks & Rec Andy is a douche because the reality show is setting him up as a heal for mark but in later seasons he's cool because the tv producers decided the audience liked him more so they gave him more positive screen time and maybe put their fingers on the scale to get him a bs job in town hall (how many bartenders are kept around on a show like Vanderpump rules just cus they're good tv).
